Thought I would pass along that if your Elcam is 25 years or older, and you can get ahold of original Montana license plates, you can register them to your car. And you get a permanent sticker.
But it cannot be an antique, vintage, or show car - where you only log miles to and from shows - it is for general transportation only. So you didn't even have to stretch about saying you aren't going to drive it extra.
Anyway, through a turn of events, I ended up with two sets of 1975s, so let me know if you would like a set. You need them both and you have to have a form signed by Highway Patrol that they are legit. I got them from PL8source.com if you are looking for other years. The prefix indicates the county. The extras that I have are prefixed 12, which I think is Libbey, or Lincoln county. I put on the Petroleum county, which is 55.
