For all you east-enders around Raleigh/Garner, Grille 57 has their monthly cruise-in this coming Saturday night. (21st) They usually attract 100-150 cars, have at least a DJ, and sometimes a band, and some door prizes. If anyone is intersested in meeting there, let me know and I'll try and set up a "ElCamino Only" area. I'll get there about 4:00. PM me if you need directions!

It turned out to be a great cruise-in. Weather was perfect, and about 130 cars showed up. Only one other Elky and it was for sale. It was an all stock 86 and I believe he wanted $3500.00 for it.

I hope to get up that way sometime this year.

I spent Saturday at a show in Union SC till about 4 and then a cruise-in at Kevin Whitaker Chevy in Greenville.

Here's some pics from those events

From down town Charlotte, about two hours fifty minutes. Easy off/easy on from I40. If ya'll think you could make it up the third Saturday of June, let me know, and I'll post specific directions. I'll also talk to the owner of Grille 57 to see if I could hold a parking area for just Elkys.

I biggest thing I need right now is a overdrive trans. I am getting 14-15 on the highway. To drive that far I will have to plan ahead.
