Currently I am restoring the interior of my Elky. It currently has more lights on the headliner than can be imagined (but not the original one). I want to get rid of all the after market lights and install the correct dome light with the new headliner. Can anyone tell me where exactly it should be located? Thanks, Bonnie

It should be in the center of the headliner at the back of the cab. I think all El Caminos have them in the same place. I also believe that you can pick that assembly up at EC Parts or The El Camino Store. I just saw them eariler looking for something for someone else.

The other neat related factory option you can get is the under dash courtesy lights. Originals were metal bracket and socket but repros are available with plastic from American Autowire amoung others. Totally hidden until you open the doors.
