I need to replace the rubber side molding to the tailgate on my 80. Any ideas or do I have to steal the ones off my mom's 83?

Check with Robert (acauth1), that's where I got mine. Just ask him to use sharper sissors to cut yours off the roll. :P

I found a 10 foot roll of gasketing material at PEP BOYS. It molds to the bed and fits perfectly as a tailgate seal. It cost about $12 for the roll.

I used a 5/8s vacuum hose that I slit down the middle & slipped it over the edge. I worked great for me.
