You should be able to pop the door lock out and take it to a lock smith to have one made. Now, to get to it you'll have to take the door panel off and leave the window up. If you don't have a manual on your ride yet, you may consider picking one up or checking one out from a library.
Good luck.

I've seen afrtermarket GM door and ignition locks at Autozone. I would imagine other franchise auto parts stores would carry them too.

You can go to any of the elco parts suppliers NPD, the carshop, and get all the matching keyed alike for the door ignition and glove box at a reasonable price. Ed ke6bnl

Go to your local GM dealership. They have all the key codes.

I am a Retired Locksmith.....

You can take out the glove box cylinder and have it decoded by a Locksmith. or you can remove the door cylinder and have it decoded by a locksmith for about $10.00 to $15.00

that way, all the door locks and the glove box will stay factory orginal.

Gook Luck.

I happened to come across this site a while back. It may be helpful..but then again, you probably don't need to replace the door/lock mechanism.

As a Locksmith this whole process is very simple.....

First of all I would strongly suguest you take your door cylinder/lock and have it "re coded to match the other door and glove box cylinders by a LOCKSMITH....

A Auto parts store / outlet and even the GM dealer can't properly recode the cylinder to match anything. The very best you will get through them is a lock / cylinder that is ramdomly keyed.

However, ther are codes stamped on the glove box lock wafers stating the last 4 of 6 cuts on the key. By using a simple process, the first unknown cuts of the key are found without a big deal, and you won't have to have a 3rd key to your Elky.....Trust me on this one....
