Well I have the dash completely out and alot of the heater vents. I'd like to get the front part of the passenger car bare. I have a new dash cap and some of my trim and seats coming in for this 4 day weekend and would like to get the rest of the heater assembly, and other vents so i can pull out and replace all the insulation that is there, lay down dynamat and dyanamet extreme in the front part before I go puttin in my newly redone dash.

I have removed a number of screws from the cab side, but I have not been able to get the remaining plastics off. If I reallly want to do this do I have to pull the heater assembly stuff out via the engine compartment to get to the rest of the screws from the firewall side or am I missing something...

The other reason to pull this stuff off is that I want to clean out the vents and the almost 25 years worth of dust in them.

The actual heater/ac box will only come out through the engine bay. There are 11 bolts that need to be removed from around the edge of the heater /ac box and it can be taken out.

o inorder to remove the plastic covers on the inside, will require the removal fo the heating unit in the engine compartment?
