Bonnie 05-29-2005, 04:02 PM I have a '69 Elky with a bench seat. I am looking for a storage type console that will fit on the hump in front of the seat. All the one's I have seen so far are set up for a flat floor. I have gauges attached to the lower dash so it will affect the size I can use. Suggestions? Glenn:dontknow: Low75 06-09-2009, 06:58 PM You can use the ones that are set up for a flat floor, it just takes a bit of customizing. One way is to carve the bottom of it so that it matches the shape of your hump...pretty simple if the base has enough material to it to allow for the carving. Another way is to fabricate an adapter piece that will fit the hump but is flat on top to allow the console to sit flat on it...this is a little more work but is the way to go if you're worried about carving into the new console. | ||
