This is very short notice, but there is a informal meeting of Camino drivers at the Stake & Shake in Edmond OK this coming Saturday morning at 9:30 AM June 4th. The Stake & Shake is on 2nd street (Route 66) West of Bryant street and East of UCO, on the north side of the street next to the Wal Mart Grocery store. We want to form a local club, so come on over and be there when it gets started.

There should be several Camino drivers there. If you know of anyone interested PLEASE contact them and invite them to attend!

We are planning another get together for a lunch at Ann's Chicken Fry on Route 66 (39th street) and Tulsa in Oklahoma City. It has a great historic Route 66 charm and may well draw some of the out of town folks to attend.

Be there for a meeting on Saturday July 9th at 11:00 AM at Ann's Chicken fry. Please send a notice to every El Camino friend you can find we may well have a strong turnout. I bet there are a lot of El Camino drivers in Enid, Altus, McAlester and even Tulsa that might want to attend. As they said in the '60s be there or be square.
