Can anyone tell me how to bench bleed a master cylinder. 'thanks :?

There is a MC bench bleed kit sold in many auto parts stores that consists of some clear tubing and plastic fittings. It's around $5. Clamp the MC level in a vise. Leave the cover of the reservoir off. Hook up the tubing and fittings so the output of the MC goes back into the reservoir. Fill the MC reservoir with brake fluid and slowly actuate the piston with a blunt object (I use the handle of a screwdriver). Release and repeat as many times as necessary to get all of the air out of the piston. Add more brake fluid to keep the tubing submerged.
