Nice ride. Running a search now for my old el camino.(bs forum) I was hoping my camino never left the good ole blue ridge. May be too far away now. Still interested in maybe looking around local for a prospect. 1970-1972.

Could be a nice 72 still for sale here. If it is, I'll see it at the cruise in here tomorrow, I'll let you know.

On the way home this evenin' i saw a burgandy 72 SS w/ white hood stripes for sale on hwy 115 in Mooresville this evening. Had $3995 on the windshield...but couldn't stop to take a look, so don't know ANY details.

If anyone's interested i can swing by again and take a peek.

edit: It's on hwy 21...not 115. I swear...i've lived in this area 30 years and i STILL can't keep the roads straight!

4 grand for a 72 SS? Clone? Thanks for keeping eyes open. Anyone familiar with the 72 two tone option? That is the model I had. Having a lot of trouble tracking one of those down. Again, thanks for the support.

Hey Pal,

Where in NC/SC are you if you don't mind me asking.
I'm in Rockingham County, north of Greensboro. I'll keep my eye out for you, it would help if I knew exactly how to identify a 72 by looking at it. Think you can let me know what to look for?

I've seen a couple of 2 tone Camino's around but I don't know which years they were. I hope you find what you're looking for & Good Luck!
