I have an 80Elky. The bed needs repainted and there is a little rust at the top of the bed going under the trim. I want to know how to remove that trim..without damaging it so I can repair and repaint the bed??

You should be able to pop it off the clips by sliding a putty knife underneath it.

Be prepared, however, to replace any of the old clips that might break in the process (they tend to get brittle when they get old).
