Hi - First time posting and rather new to your site. Recently picked up a fine looking '77 Classic with the 305. One problem - I'm missing the flywheel cover. In shopping online, I keep getting references to flywheel covers that fit the 350, and I stumbled on two different part numbers that reference the starter slot width, i.e. there is a flywheel cover that fits for a 2-3/8" starter slot, and one cover that fits a 2-7/8" starter slot. I've only had the car up on a rack once to give it the quick once-over, so I wanted to know if you guys can tell me which starter slot width would be the right one for the 305 engine. One note -- had a coutrteous return call from Rick at ECParts who let me know generally that the flywheel cover they stock will fit my 305 engine. Just wanted some verification before I merrily order the cover. Thanks for any help here.

When they reference a 350, they're referencing a 350 turbo tranny, not a 350 small block. All the on-line houses have them, kinda partial to the chrome one for ~$25 myself
