Here is another local car show with an El Camino class. The 12th annual South Attleboro Lions Club Car Show Auto Show. It'll be held on September 11, 2005 at the LaSallette Shrine in South Attleboro Massachusetts, exit #3 on Rt 95. Sorry but there's no web address to link to. I got this info from one of the flyers being passed out at the RICOA car show.

I am going to take the trip up to NH for the ECCC show. This is their first year with an El Camino / Ranchero class and I love beating Ranchero's.

It sure does make it tough when good shows pick the same day for a show. I know the show you mentioned is very close to you down in Rhody.....

I too will be deciding soon which of the 2 car shows to attend (Attleboro or Nashua) on Sept the 11th (hated missing the "Autos of the World" here in RI in late July). Today, I'm kinda leaning toward Nashua.

Ernie, assuming your ride's ready, have you decided? If Nashua, maybe you can follow me (if you can keep up). :P

Seriously, I'd like to tag up with any "Southern N.E. ECCers" headed North to Nashua.

I've been mulling it over Mike. The Attleboro show is closer but it seems like everyone else is heading up north. I'll probably go up to Nashua with the rest of the crew. I'll send you a PM with my phone number so we can make plans.

Hi guys, "Waffle Mike" here.

Decided this morning to do the Lion's Club/La Sallette Shrine in N. Attleboro Mass. car show. It's closer to me, has a dedicated El Camino class (excluding Rancheros), plus the wife can enter her Model A too. Downside is that I loose the opportunity to meet/rub elbows with the majority of you that're going to Nashua on the 11th (and see what "real" Elkys are like).

I plan to speak with Ernie (out of town today) and let him know my plans have changed.

Howdy Everyone.

The Attleboro Lion's Club Car Show was superb. Temp and humidity was just right and the Attleboro Lion's club set a record attendance of over 450 cars.

There were 4 Elky's there. 3 were 3rd Gen's and one a 5th Gen (I think). A single Ranchero came but was in his own class. John brought his Red 69 3rd Gen Elky, but he was too late to register.

Jay, I was the only NECOA member in attendance, so I extended invitations to join NECOA. I have/will be sending out a weblink and pictures to them via email.

Wife took 3rd place in her 1929 Model A. It's her 1st ever car award!! She's excited to say the least.

I missed all the fun of being with the bigger group there in Nashua today. Maybe next year.
