With all the engineering that GM has done over the years its interesting to note that they have either fired or laid off the engineers or lost the drawings for the lowly brake pedal. Would you believe the brake pedal out of the 97-02 Corvette is a perfect fit in my '85 El Camino and looks very close to the pedal I saw which was destined for installation in a '67 Malibu. Who'd have thought.

Hmmm, got any pics? If what you say is true I wonder if the brake pedal and clutch pedal out of a manual trans Vette is a bolt in swap also?

if a brake pedal from a car years ago still works in a new car, why change it?
