This is WAY off topic but, check out the website for the movie my mechanics made while we were in Iraq. You can download the trailer there and for a donation they will send you a copy of the movie. It is pretty good. There is also some original music composed by Mitch Meadows (one of my soldiers from over there) and video compilations in there. Check it out and help these guys keep this site open.

After I get done buying my house I probably will donate to this site. I am "plugging" their site because:

A. I was in Iraq with these guys for a year and had some extreemly memorable times. That site is the only link we have to keep in contact with each other as a group.

B. The movie is pretty cool. If you would check out the site you would see it is just about 6 guys stuck in Iraq and trying to make the best of it. The donation that I mentioned for the movie is just because DVDs arn't free.

If I am not welcome to mention other sites on this forum I ask for one of the admins to delete this thread and send me a PM or Email informing me.

Yes I mentioned you would get the movie with a small donation. That was not the point of the post. I DON'T GET ANYTHING FROM ANYONE DONATING MONEY TO THAT SITE. No one does. I was just adding how to get a copy of the movie. Sounds like you are a very cautious person who does not get screwed easy and that is good. This is an issue of asking someone to blindly make donations to a web site and to people nobody knows. Am I missing something? This happens on most internet chat sites.

I think it is pointless to keep this thread going so this is my final reply. You said read your posts, well read mine. All I said was "check out the website." I am sorry I mentioned anything about a donation now. Drumming up money was not the intent of the post as I said earlier. So.....I'm out of words. I can't believe I got this response. Maybe the admins will delete this thread and we won't have to mess with this anymore.

This is the General BS forum and you're welcome to post any and all content that is not offensive. I just checked out the website and I think it's pretty cool. I made a $20 donation to help keep it running just like I contribute to this site to help keep it running. The website takes Paypal which is fast and secure. I'm not endorsing it or asking anyone else to contribute to it. That is your personal choice.
