If by "wholes" you mean "wholesale" it's kind of hard out here in California, meaning you can find dirt cheap name brand speakers but the only problem is most stereo shops won't sell the speaker alone you'll need to have it installed and everyone knows installing anything cost much more than anyone should have to pay for only 15 - 30 minutes of work. In my opinion shop for a good speaker and amp(prefferably name brand because they back their product) like kenwood, pioneer, sony, alpine, bazooka, and rockford fosgate (not 100% recommended) all these brands are very affordable and very reputable (minus RF, personal prefference) and they make very wide ranges of sizes so an entire system can be built(not to mention voice matched). Hope this helps, good luck.

Hey whats up, I just purchased a set of custom boxes that fit right in the storrage area in my elky 82, I bought those in Los Angeles (Downtown L.A.). You could get a lot of name brand stuff for dirt cheap.

i have a 67.
what kind of room will i have in the doors for speakers? Anybody done it?
What about rubber boots from the door well into the door to protect the wires?

Any info will help.

You might want to consider putting your speakers in the kick panels (many companies make them a popular one is q-forms) if not depending on where at on the door your talking about like the lower front corner you'll have about 2.5 - 3.5 inches to work with but also I would recommend that you get some baffle like cup to protect the speaker from the elements (company called XTC make some real good ones.),As far as the wiring goes there is a little rubber hose, tube, grommet like(kind of looks like an accordian center section) thing(name unknown) you can use,You can get it off any newer car door jamb in a wrecking yard or new costs about $3- $10 a pair, Or you can go the expensive route and go with the stainless kit that comes with 2 stainless ends and a stainless braided line, as soon as I remember where I seen it I'll post it.
