Hi everyone I just bought a 70 El Camino SS 350 a few weeks ago and love the car!!!! I have always loved the Camino and how much more rare they are around Chicago than the Chavelle and Camaro. She has a few rough spots but nothing a winter of storage can't fix. Maybe someone could answer a couple questions for me?

- Does anyone know if replacing the sending unit for the gas gauge is a rough fix?
- Did the 70 SS come with posi from the factory?
- What are some ways people mount speakers in the back?
- How good are the HP gains on headers for the 350?

Here are a few pics of here the day after I bought her......... I had to adjust the mirrors cause the guy i bought it from is like 5 foot and the only way I could see out of them was if I turned them all the way sideways, like in the pics.

Welcome to the club Charlie. There are more Elcaminos in the area than you might think, not as many as Camaros and Chevelles, but that's what makes them special in my opinion. What suburb are you in?
