Well, today was not the greatest day for a car show. Very cloudy, damp and some drizzle. Plus, at one point the drizzle turned to a real rain. Throw in a North East dew point of 72, meaning lots of humidity, and you get the idea.

The weather kept a lot of participants away and there were very few spectators.

I finally was able to meet another regional member, Garry of "Pro Street Garry (http://www.scaldinghotelcamino.com/)" fame. He came up from northern CT with his fantastic Pro Street Camero. What an awesome car. Nice meeting you Gary and look forward to the Super Chevy show in a few weeks.

Neither one of us won any trophies, but it was good see and talk to a bunch of real car guys.

I did take a few pictures and made a quick picture slide show. Check out quinsig slide show (http://college.holycross.edu/users/staff/jlevitan/carshow05/quinsig/quinsig_car_show.html)

Hey Garry, you were in the local section of the Telegram & Gazette newspaper. You were quoted along with a little bit about your classic stingray bike. If you want a copy, let me know and I can send you one.

I'm looking forward to the Super Chevy show in two weeks. I'm going to try and make it up there real early. I like the "parade" of cars coming in. Going to try to see if they will let me in the "Stock" class instead of the "Street" class. The only problem might be my wheels, they were not stock from the factory.

Thanks for the props on the slide show. I use Microsoft Plus! Digital Media Edition (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/plus/dme/dmehome.asp). I ordered it online for like $20 bucks. It seems to work for me without to much "playin around". One word of caution though. If you have a lot of pictures and music, the end result file size is large. I think the one you saw was like 21MB. So, if you don't have a lot of web space to store files, it might eat up a large chunk.

Talk to you soon and see you at Epping! Are you SURE you won't be making a few runs with your Camero??? 8)

Hey Garry, you were in the local section of the Telegram & Gazette newspaper. You were quoted along with a little bit about your classic stingray bike. If you want a copy, let me know and I can send you one. That would be great! You can just bring it to Super Chevy if that works for you?

I dont see why they would not let you in the stock class if its just rims & tires added. Maybe check out there site.

Thanks on the info on the slide show soft wear...I'll have to look into it.
