On Saturday, July 30, 2005 will be participating in an official NECOA Region 9 event. This event is broken down into two components:

Part A:

St. Paul United Church of Christ Annual Car Show
24158 Goddard Road
Taylor, MI 48180-3910
Map (http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?searchtype=address&country=US&addtohistory=&searchtab=home&address=24158+Goddard+Road&city=Taylor&state=MI&zipcode=)

Registration: 10:00 am - Noon
Show: Noon - 4:00 pm

$10 entry fee. Door prizes, food, music, craft show, moonwalk, face painting. When I spoke with the organizer this morning, they were still trying to decide on dash plaques for the first 100, or trophies for the first 50 entries.

Spaces are first come, first served, however, if I can give the organizer a FIRM number on how many NECOA members, they will reserve a row of spots for us, right up front! So, please let me know ASAP if you can attend this show. Even if you don't think your Elky is "show worthy", it would be nice to make a strong club showing!

Part B:

FIRST Annual Cruzin' Telegraph http://www.cruzintelegraph.com/

This is technically an all day event (9:00 am to 9:00 pm) however, we will "officially" be participating between 4:00-9:00 (after the car show)
_____________________________________________

This day is the perfect event for everyone who has ever sent me email saying, "let me know when there is something going on...." Well my friends, this is it. We can't possibly do any better that this! We have a car show in the afternoon, and a cruise at night!

Please let me know if you plan on attending this event. If you send me email, be sure to also include your NECOA Member ID in your response, so I know who is who! Those responding with a "Yes" will be sent my cell phone number, just in case it's needed the day of the event.

Thanks,
