I used some POR 20 high temp paint on the stock exhaust manifold and followed their instructions to a "T" [whatever that means]. The pint cost over $20 and the paint started peeling after a short trip on the expressway. Now I have to continually touch the manifold up as the junk peels off or let it go until it all peels off. :(

In my opinion I wasted my money and time and I certainly don't recommend anyone else doing the same. :x

I would have been better off with BBQ paint!!!! :-)

More info would be really helpful, such as:

- When you say you followed the instructions, what method(s) did you use to clean and prepare the manifold?
- If you used more than one coat, how long did you allow the paint to set and cure between coats.
- How long after you painted did you drive the car?
