Hey All
i have a 79 El Camino that I just purchuse a El Camino rear end for with Discs the calipers face the rear of the car but clash with th shock mounts I was woundering if the calipers can be mounted facing the front of the car if so what would need to be done the step up looks stock also can anyone tell me how to tell what the disc came from? I can e-mail a pic to anyone that would like to eye ball the set up LMK Thanks or help me place a pic on this site for all to see and give opinion

Noticed it's been a while since you posted the question--having any luch with the rear disk installation? I have no experience with that setup, but have you tried swapping the caliper brackets left to right sides to see where that moves the calipers?

The project is on hold I was think ing of changing them over but havent had the time at last I was trying to find out what the disc came from any ideas on how to find out
