Any Atlanta members know of a good reputable engine/machine shop?

I have a 350 w/ 305 heads because the previous owner said that:
"The 305 heads have smaller combustion chambers which gives you higher compression and a little more power."

Anyone know if this is true?
Should I stick with the 305 heads or match 350 heads to the engine?

I am looking to replace the heads because the valve seals leak oil from the valve cover on top of the head down the valve shaft into the combustion chamber. The car uses a quart of oil every 750 miles. :-(

Other than this, the engine is strong and runs fine.

Perhaps I am going in the wrong direction with a head replacement, any other suggestions?

I'd go ahead and replace those heads if it were me....

I do have a GREAT engine builder, but he ain't cheap. He's up in Snellville, GA about 25 minutes north of the perimeter. Although he's pricey you will not be disappointed with what you get. Swing by my place this weekend and I'll show you what I mean 8O . I'm inside 285 off Shallowford road near Northlake Mall. :cool:
