Where is Ft. Myers? I agree that it would be cool to head out together. Anyone headed to Old town from the Central Florida area? I live in Port St. John.

I'll be there. Unfortunatley, I have to work and won't be able to leave Largo until around 4:30. Save me a spot with the club. Looking forward to meeting some fellow El Camino owners.

Really bummed we can't make it.

Well you know when one of the auto companies has a recall and sends out notification, you with all companies ha the same manners.

I happen to be the former owner of a Guident ICD (defibulator implant) that was recalled and had it replaced today with a Medtronic unit for $20K.

Only finding out at a quaterly ck-up a few days ago, opting for change asap due to malfunction doa 2 or 3 people already. Stay away from Guident or J&J stock their new owners, they will be dropping for this reason.

Please Post pictures

Today is the day we've been looking forward to.

Will be working 12 hours today on a last minute issue that came up late Thursday, carried over to yesterday, and continues into today.

Still planning on heading out there after work to check things out. What time does this show end? Is it an all day affair? Good luck everyone hoping to see and meet you there. Thanks.

For all the guys that did not make it to old town, Heres how the day went. The leader of the pack was on site and set up things at 8:00 am what a guy "we all need to thank R59" for a lot of effort and if we wish to do this next year a couple of us will have to help. Second car in was an 84 SS Cho Cho from Ft Myers, I came in at 10.15 69 SS396 from Palm Harbor, than 2 Gen 5 and 1966 nice stocker and so forth til noon and the count was 10 a few left early and a few came late due to work "but they did come" thanks Jerry & Conrad so the total count as I remember was 14. Long Hauler was from KEY WEST .So guys the its to far excuse dos not work.

From me to R59 THANK YOU. If the donation can was still short of what you would like to have seen let me know an I will drop some more to you and please do let me know.

The day made it to at least when I left at 7:30 with no rain and I dodged the wet stuff all the way back to Palm Harbor. As it moved north of I-4.

Old town is a great Place and the Main street Parking really shows off our El Camino's in all there glory as one of the collectable models with the fewest surviving percentages to production amount of any model. For those that do not know from 1964 to 1972 only 3% of the total production of El Camino is still registered. The Chevelle is around 8 To 10 %. GEN 1 1959 and 1960 is to few to make a percentage number. NO status on Gen 4 or 5.

EVERY ONE KEEP CRUISE-IN AND NO SPEEDING LET THE PEOPLE SEE THOSE ELKY'S

Well guys, I enjoyed being there as well. Sorry I had to leave around 2 p.m. I enjoyed talking with everyone. I thought that the paint job on the elky from Key West was cool. Look forward to next year and of course the Turkey Rod meet. Good job Pete.
