Welcome to the club, Joe. I know the enthusiasm you have right now!
With gas prices the way they are now, I'm sure there'll be some time when you won't be on the road in your new toy! Post some photos and don't hesitate to ask a lot of questions.

a few glaring questions right off the bat....how many choo choo customs were made in 86? Where or how can i get more int codes #s if the sticker in me door jam is somewhat illegible? (the choo choo tag is very legible tho 8-) )
And, if in fact this is a real CCC car, is it more benefitial to all #s match restore it this winter or.....keep the screamin meanie in it and have fun?
yes i realize its an opinionated question :)

I'm thinking that None of the 5th Generation Elkys, Choo Choo or not, had a 350 from factory or a 700R4. So it's probably not a problem with having to worry about # matching. :D
Choo Choo is a body and appearance upgrade. All got the 305 possibly a 4bbl Q-Jet if it was an SS it could have had a 3.08 Rear End and it could be a posy maybe. Most were not.
There is a page here on this that explains the SS Options and Choo Choo. I am sorry I don't have it memorized. It would be one of the links on the right at the home page I think.
