I just bought my 79 for $750...and i am trying to find out what it is or was.
I have figured out most of the mubers but there are a couple i cant find anywhere...and yes... i did search and i read every post here..almost

the underlined ones I already know...the Z15 was pretty cool to see
as well as the fact the car was made in the 4th week of march 1979..my birthday is march 29th 1979

any help would be appreciated...

74V - Interior trim color code for Dark Carmine Vinyl seat

0405 - Internal plant Identification number tagged to build sheet

15L - Sliver Poly paint on lower portion of body (SS accent paint)
19V - Secondary interior trim color code for Black vinyl

those are a real help, Im trying to take it back to original.
I had no idea it was an SS when i bought it...

The 19V you have at the end is more likely a 19U indicating Black upper body paint.

If so, pretty car!

I also have the carmine vinyl bucket seats, console, gauges, etc. However my codes specify a silver top color and carmine lower scheme.

The 97AL refers to the SS (Z15) stripe/decal color scheme. In this case the Red color stripes is on yours.

My numbers are as follows:

You can see the similarities.
