The drivers door is sagging on my 85 can the hinges be adjusted or dhould i just replace them? it is about 1/4" to 1/2" low when the door shuts. the window does not go all the way tight to the door seal. Seems like there is a fair amount of play in the door. Maybe bew hinges are in order. But thought they might be an adjustment. Anyone have a clue let me know...Thanks

I replaced my hinge pins & bushings last year. The brass bushings wear out over time. Most of the time that is all that is needed. With 2 people its not a hard job.

Don't replace the hinges. Rebuild them instead.

It took a friend & I less than an hour to do the upper & lower hinge pins. We took a die grinder & cut the old pins in half, then drove them out from both ends. My old bushings where almost gone. We installed new bushings & I held the door in place as he installed the new pins. It was not hard at all.

Check your local salvage yards for a donor, I'd grab both uppers and lowers just in case...

The ones i have found in salvage yards are almost as bad as mine. Someone has to have some NEW ones...

OPGI carries new, price is high! I bought a complete used set off Ebay and also a new pin and bushing set. I probably spent less than $35.00 total.
