There is going to be a small car show (with no age requirement for the car) at Beamer and Hughes in Houston on Thursday 8/18/05. No need to drive across state or somthing like that. It's at "The Gardens". There is an entry fee, $25 now or at the door, for spectators it's $20 at the door or $15 in advance. For more info call 281-481-5516. I'm not sure what time it's at but im sure you can find out from the number. Every entry gets a trophy. Some will be better than others obviously.
