I'm looking at purchasing these wheels (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7993473676&fromMakeTrack=true) off of ebay. Does anyone know if these would fit a 1980 Elky?

Only if they are a 4.75" pattern. I could be wrong, but the newer wheels are 4.5" I believe. There are backspacing considerations also. I like the wheels, they would look good on an Elkie.

Someone more knowlegeable than myself is sure to have the answer.

Hum, I'll have to email the person selling them to find out if they know I guess. The only reason I'm seriously considering these is because the person is from Baton Rouge, LA. So, no shipping would be involved.

According to Tire Rack (http://www.tirerack.com), these have a 5 x 4.75 bolt pattern. So, I'm hoping these will fit. :?

Better find out the backspacing and offset. You may have to grind out a little inside the center to get them to fit your spindles, but I think they should fit fine. If the backspacing is more than 4.5" or if they're from a 4x4, I'm pretty sure they won't fit.

Those are two-wheel drive S10 wheels, they'll work. For about $500, you can get brand new ZQ8 wheels from the dealer with center caps and lug nuts.

I believe those rims are hubcentric. You'll probably need to open up the center bore of the rim a little bit with a file to get them to fit. Make sure they are from a two wheel drive vehicle, not a 4X4.

A few people here have those wheels on their El Caminos, all they had to do was open the center up like has already been stated. Any competent machine shop can handle that.

Thanks for all of your help! The auction ended with the reserve not being met. If I can talk the wife into getting these, I might just have to make the seller an offer for them. I just so happen to know someone who works in a machine shop, so, for $225 or so, these would be a gr8 deal!
