Well i have had nice plans for my el camino i am customizing/restoring and my alltrac for a while, so its all taking a while, especially since im trying to finish school. Ive been without a job since i had a bad accident almost 2 years ago but i have been a full time student through ever since and even took 2 full loads during the summer.

This past saturday i took my g/f out for her "early b-day" dinner. Made plans with the manager at the resteraunt, and called her up on stage to wish her a happy b-day. While we were up on stage i asked her to marry me.

So now, not only do i have to work hard to make progress on my cars, i also have to work my a$$ off to graduate in may and plan a wedding at the same time, and a honeymoon.

So the cars will need a little more time.....but hell.....life goes on right.

Your priorities are all wrong. You get the Elky fully restored so you have a nice ride to take her on the honeymoon. 8) Congratulations

Were you in an ELKY when the bad accident occured?
Does your bride to be have an Elky?
Work is good for you. Especially when you are young.
You have plenty of time for marriage.
Get an education, and get the Elky on the road.

No i wasent in an elky in the accident. You can see what it was on my website. Its under "RIP Rusty". No my fiance doesnt have an elky, she doesnt like them. School is hard enough for me an my parents said as long as i am in school and doing well then i can still live there for free. We are waiting till i graduate to get married, its a must for us. The elky is a project, and many projects take time. This one just takes a lot of time haha

Nothing wrong with the project taking a while. Everything you do to restore the vehicle will increase its value, if done correctly. You can view it as an investment that is increasing in value with time.
