Nothing much on the 1968 Fisher Body tag to tell you about the car.

07C 140666 221015
07C is the month and week of production, 07=July' C=3rd week

140666 221015 is the Data Processing Sequence number, every car that went into the system was assinged one of these sequential numbers for processing the build of the car. Nothing more than tracking numbers with no use today

68 13680 BAL06486
765-- BF Y2
68=1968
13680 = El Camino Custom 2 dr delivery pickup
BAL = Fisher plant code used at Baltimore
06486 = Boy Indent. number (nothing to do with VIN), number may have been assigned across model lines??

765=Interior trim code for Black vinyl bench seat trim
Y2 is the lower paint color and top vinyl top color
Y=Butternut Yellow
2=Black vinyl roof cover

B F - I am assuming these are on the last line of tag??
B F are common finds on Baltimore tags and no one has any idea of thier meaning. They are unique to Baltimore GMAD cars and thought to have something to do with the fact that Baltimore built other GM models. Could mean what line that body was sent to after completion so a Chevelle would not be trimed out as a GTO but really no one has any idea as nothing was documented.
