Nope, you can use a T-56 or many others. The C6 like the C5 doesn't have a normal tranny it uses more of a transaxle. The problem with the LS7 is the PCM now uses math based instead of table base programming. There is no way to currently reprogram it to work in anything but a C6: ie gear ratios, wheel sizes, VATS etc. You would have to use an aftermarket harness and PCM or take an LS1/2/6 PCM/harness and adapt it to the LS7, or wait for an LS7Edit to get made. But with 505hp and 475ft it would be worth the trouble. Bowtie 08-26-2005, 05:51 PM Thanks for clearing that up Rob.
