hey i just wanted to know what the stock horsepower is of a 1980 el camino with a 367 small block, cant seem to find it online. thx

If it's a 367(?) it's not a stock small block, that's probably why you cannot find any info on the internet. A 350 (5.7 liter) bored out could yield approx. 366 cubic inches maximum, and unless you know what specifically has been done to the motor, there's know way to give you a hp rating. You would have to dyno the motor. If it's a stock 305, (5.0 liter) 150hp.

I assume that 367 is a typo error and you really have a L39 267ci V8. It's an anemic 120HP @ 3600 RPM

DUH :eh: Your probably right on it being a typo Ernie, I forgot that Chevy made a V8 with even less guts then the 305.

Yeah, I thought, why did chevy bother with the 267, it only had 5 more horses than the 229 c.i. V-6.....
