i am from the vero beach area and unfortunatly i did not find out about the necoa until i went to oldtown last month, i have a 74 and did not know i could have brought my car there that night. i would like to know if there is another show in my area that necoa members are going to. please reply.

Hello zuke, I see no one has replied. I'm a new member myself but have owned mine since 1987. I'm afraid the show in Old Town is the only El Camino only shows I know of. You might ask the question in the Region 6 forums and see if you get an answer. I would also be interested. I live just north of Orlando.

Hello guys,I attended the Old Town show myself-It is the only all El Camino show we have right now.How about having a "show within a show" inside the speedway at Daytona in March-The Spring Spectacular show thats inside the speedway already has a mopar,fiero and impala show going on within the "show" It does not have a cut-off year,has lots of space,and also offers something for everyone. Keep an eye here-if theres enough interest we should do it!

I got to the daytona spring show every year if i could get my el camino done before the show i would put mine in if we decide to have a el camino club

ive never been to the spring show but would like to. i do plan on attending the turkey run tho, and we usually meet up somewheres around there, even if it is too late to register to park together.

The Spring show is much smaller,and the 5th Gen cars can attend,I say we do it! I'm also at the turkey run every year-I think if we can have a good turn out at the Spring show,we can definitely do the Turkey Run the following year!What do you guys think?

I know I'm from Region 7.. but I'm just shy of 3 hours to Daytona and try to make the Turkey run every year... I'd love to make a spring thing happen if a bunch of Elkys are gonna show.. That would be great! Don't see them in numbers very often.. Plan something for spring and I'll show up!

I think we can have a good turn out,If we want an official section in the show we will HAVE to have a certain number of cars pre-register.I can get with Peter (who also works the show) and get registration forms,How many of you guys want to show???

I can put a link to the web site,all the info plus downlodable forms are on there.First I need to get with our Regional Director-who also works the show to find out how we get a "reserved"section to park.I know for sure that we will need a certain # of caminos pre-registered to even get our space.We will probably need to indicate that we are together as a group.You guys game? Its in March....theres lots of time to get ready!

I go to the turkey rod run every year also i dont think that my el camino will be able to make it but i will hopefully there will be an el camino club that will be cool

Steven,you can absolutely show your 5th gen in March-That show is different than the Rod Run.Cut off for the years is usually different. Clean up your ride and come out and show!!! I'll be at the Rod Run as well but it will be in my station wagon,the 1st gens are not ready yet.

ill be at the Run, but the car wont be inside. keep on planin this whole spring show and hopefully ill be able to come.

Hey 82 the Rod Run is a huge show -cutoff year is too early for your 5th gen.Thanksgiving weekend Thurs-Sun. Great show,cruising beachside,etc. etc.The spring show is pretty much the same thing but on a smaller scale-yes,your 5th gen. can enter that show.Both are inside the Daytona Speedway.You should go,well worth the drive!Are you drivin' the camino to slam fest? I'll be there Sat.(we are taking my neighbors slammed 58 Plymouth)Perhaps I'll see you there!
