I've made the decision......it's going to be a 350. Now I need to find a good clean one.
I'm not looking for the hi-performance.......just a good clean stock(or a little over-stock).
Not opposed to rebuilding as long as I know the motor was reasonably taken care of and not super high miles.
I will even entertain a 305 as I'm not going to race it.....just love the V-8 sound!!!
I have some TBI parts that came with the elky so I can save a little if I find one that can use those, if it's a short block. I'll need some brackets "etc" for the 4.3 to 350 swap so it would be nice to get those too.
Also leaning toward a 700-R4 and will need to find it.

Anyone looking to get rid of one??

I'm in Charleston SC.......can pick it up within a reasonable distance.....ie....less than a days drive.....

If interested I have a goodwrench 4-bolt 350 crate motor,350 hp-low miles,edelbrock,lunati etc.can hear run! in an 81 cabellero,can ship. replacing engine with 454 !
