ive been looking on ebay and craigs list and have had no luck.

I to would like to find a used one in So Calif. for a 3rd generation. One was once on ebay BUT I didn't even have the old el co on the road at the time and not ready to spend the money, it was needed to get it going. any brand will do.Ed ke6bnl

venice is right up the street from me! aren't gaylords pretty easy to find online? perhaps that's option b?

i searched for 6 mos. (recycler, craigs list, ebay) i saw 3 in that time, 1 was the rough style on ebay and it sold for $430 the 2nd one sold before i could pick it up for i think $500 and the last one i acually got for $350 in fair condition. good luck on your search. you have to look daily and react fast in my experience.

I realize that this is an old post, but I have recently acquired an '86 SS with a Gaylord cover. Since my Elky will be used to carry my dirt bikes, I have removed the cover. PM me if you are still interested, for I want to sell it.
