8) Hey Camino80 and HrsePwrDrms! Thanks for the reply. Chicago isn't that far just a nice cruise. The region 10 group seems to be a little laid back. Need to see what it would take to get everyone going. A little late in the year to get much going but maybe the right time to start thinking about next year! I hope to have my 77 pretty well done by then. Looking forewards to meeting other members! :)

8) Thanks For the reply! While there is a great deal of dialog on the overall site, there is very little within the regional forum. :-( Come on everybody lets see some participation ! Get to know more about your fellow members!! I know it's hard to get together with such a vast region but that shouldn't stop local gatherings! Then the local groups could get in contact with each other and plan 2 maybe 3 regional get togethers a year ! What do you think?

I agree with this region being slow. I tried to get the local owners to post pics of their car and like 3 people posted! ***?!? Anyways I used to own a Contour SVT as a toy, and the SVT owners met up almost once a month. Schaumburg was a common place, so common that onwers from Rockford and Dekalb would drive out to the meets often. We should meet up somewhere! Schaumburg would be fine with me, maybe the Hooters there by Woodfield? Just my 2cents.

Thats fine with me . How about on Saturdays to make it easier on those that live a distance away. I know the area and the earlier in the day the better. Thats a high volume shopping area. Just my humble opinion.

Hey there, not from your region, but support your efforts to gather elkie whenever and as often as posible.

We should have a challenge between regions to pull of the biggest gatherings.

In region 18, west coast for the most part are having our first "cruise night" (welll at least my first, and previous participation indicates it may be the first) on October 28th, seems we may get around 15 - 20 between this forum and the team chevelle folks.

just a thought.
