My name is Ryan Fairchild, I live in Larned, KS. I used to own a 66 el Camino, I restored it all through high school and then stupidly sold the elcamino. :-( I am currently looking for a 66 el Camino to restore. If you or anyone you know are selling a 66 el Camino information would be greatly appreciated.

Ya i've checked ebay but most of them are a bucket of bolts with mostly rust as a body. I think i may just have to buy one already restored. There was one guy i talked to who wanted two thousand for his rough completely stripped with new hole's x race car. That wasn't gonna happen. But thanks for you input.

...thought I'd give you my $0.02
I've noticed that the 66 is becoming outrageously priced, and folks are getting the price. The ones that are fully restored and done nicely with attention to detail EVERYWHERE, are going to run in the low 20K range... and the "projects" that have been in the field for 20 years are too far gone to spend a bunch of $$ on. That leaves alot of daily drivers that are better than forgotten field cars, but in serious need of attention from stem-to-stern. Expect to see these going for upwards of 5 or 6K. Crazy...I know, but the old iron is bringing big bucks these days.
Best of luck in your search. I hope you find exactly what you want.
