Hi all, my name is Doug Johnson. I am the owner of a 1979 El Camino SS. I am located in Florence, AL. I am the owner of Concept Tuning.
I am currently beginning fabrication on parts for the Elky. These parts will be available to you guys also. First product is a kicker panel that replaces your stock pass side panel and holds a 6.5" speaker.
Price for these are $25. (P.S. driver side fabrication about to begin).
Pictures will be available soon.

Yay! this is awesome...
What are they going to be made out of? Will it have a place for a tweeter also? What years will they fit? What colors will be available? Are you thinking about making sub inclosures? Could I get fries with that? Are there any questions that I missed?

LOL, I think you hit them all. Let me see if I can hit them most.
They are made of hand laid fiberglass. They are made to order so they can be made to hold a tweeter as well. I will need the diameters of the speakers so I know what size to make the holes.
$25 is for a unfinished kick panel. That means you have to paint it your self. I figured most people might want to do this to match their interiors more perfectly. I can paint them, but that will be extra. Basic colors will be available, but I don't really like doing custom colors because of the color not matching perfectly.
They will fit 78-87's. Those are the only years I have access to. If you have a different year and would like one made I will need your stock kick panel to use as a mold.
Yes I will be making sub enclosures. My next project, however, is a driver side kick panel. This one will be more difficult do to the e-brake pedal. If there is something custom you would like then I might do it now also.
I was thinking about doing a console extension for us of those without bucket seats and consoles. I will make on of these for my Elky first to post pictures for everyone to decide. I plan on incorporating a 7" screen and or cup holders into this somehow.
If you would like fries with that I can work that out also. Do you prefer crinkle or curly fries? haha
Doug...how about some pix. I'd like to see how these units are coming out...
