Would a gas tank from a 95 camaro z28 fit in the spot of an 81 El Camino? I know this has nothing to do with what its under but i didnt really know where else to put it.

No, the tank on the 4th gen Camaros is way different in shape then any El Camino tank. If you're looking for a baffled tank the later 5th gen V6s were fuel injected so the tanks were baffled. That's what I used in my conversion.
