I am sure some of you have seen these out there on TV or in your local autoparts store. I tried it on 2 different cars, my Elco and my new 2002 Mits. Galant. The steel is so thick and ridgid on the Elco that the device just peeled itself from the hot glue, the dent would not pop out and it was quite minor on the front fender. The instructions say that you have to do it multiple times... still... no success (I did this all at night while the metal was cold and cleaned with alcohol). Now on My Galant, there was a small ding. Popped it out with out any problem! If you plan on useing this product to pull dents on an Elky, you might have wasted your money. I believe that this product was designed for todays "PLASTIC" cars in mind.

Thanks for the heads up. I had though about "double kill" on the Elky and the Mark but I guess I'll have to do it the old fashioned way (pay someone else).

the Elky's got more dings than the Mark! And the ding on the Mark is covered by my boss's insurance. Rental car rash can be contagious!

Try heating the dent. I had a dent in the tailgate. The dent remover dude heated the dent with a heat gun, from the inside. Presto, the dent pulled right out.

Got one a while back, the first time I used it the pads broke off the stud. Now mind you, I took it back and they exchanged it, that one also broke the same way, exchanged that one, you guessed it, it also broke, so that one went into the Trash where the first one should have gone.:dontknow:

I've had pretty good luck using the dry ice method. Just make sure you wear gloves and protective clothes.
Except on my 38 chevy that had a little hail damage. The metal was so thick nothing less than a good old hammer and dolly would work.

I ended up using a hammer to get my hood to close again, but I should've just gone with a professional dent remover. They're not super-cheap, but they're damn good (usually) and worth the cost.
