80 white royal knight 04-27-2006, 08:46 PM Columbus has a car show on the last tuesday of the month, all summer long, downtown, at a fancy place that sponcers the show. Attendance is around 200 cars and Harley Davidson Motorcycles, but sadly I show the only Elky.
Also, in the fall, a very large show is in West Point. I was disappointed that not one Elky entered. I think this year we should make a strong showing.
Damn, I'll have too buy another El Camino first. Had too sell the 78 because I'm moving.
80 white royal knight 04-30-2006, 12:17 PM How many people in Neb. have a membership here and an Elky ?

diesel camino 06-06-2007, 12:01 PM I am in the other Nebraska in Chadron (no we are not part of wyoming). I have an 83 El Camino with a factory diesel engine. I helped my dad restore it about 15 years ago and inherited it when he passed away 3 years ago.
82conquista 07-01-2007, 01:07 AM i think if we do a nebraska meet and greet we should do it in lincoln or omaha and have all of us have nametags and put our sn's on the tag
malibumongo 08-05-2007, 02:15 PM I just joined about week ago... as I just inherited my Grandfathers 82 El Camino. It is totally rust free but has lots of small door dings all the way around... that is a whole lot easier to fix than rust so I will take it!!!
Also Have 1965 Chevy Malibu SS since High School.
The Best place for a car guy to be in Omaha is in RedNecks parking lot on Wednesday nights from about 5:30 till dark. Just south and East of 84th and Center, Behind Manglesons to the north a couple blocks. Its a huge lot and eveyone brings their cars to show and shine. I would say 500 or so each week, not including the 100+ bikes and even more that don't find a spot to park. No fees, Free show, free to lookers and car owners who want to show off their car. (Mostly old cars)
I might be able to bring the Malibu down in September, will be out of town next week, this Wednesday shows rain and 100 degrees. The vinyl seats and high compression dont enjoy that kind of temp. Maybe I'll see you down there and welcome to Omaha!
