I kinda like the t-top concept. Always wanted to see what it would look like on an Elco. But the t-top is a little "skinny".....wish I could see the glass tops.

I'll reserve my comments on the paint job as I too am feelinga little queezy, but it was nice to see a t-top conversion. I agree though, they appear to skinny.

Looks like the repair "person" got stuck fixing something under the dash and just got "finished" in.

My Elky is still "butt ugly" and that one is simply "too wild" for my taste as I prefer a more conservative automobile. I don't know if you like it or not but if you do, that's fine by me.

honestly, i think the chic-camino looks better than this horrid abomination, but still better than the whale. I threw up a little bit in my mouth when the picture loaded. I don't like the t-top but perhaps because it wasn't done quite right?

The paint would be acceptable if he hadn't done the bed/frame in yellow...that and the lettering graphics aren't doing it any favors. The t-tops are somewhat cool, but I'd never have a dash that looks like it belongs in Fred Flintstone's ride...not to mention the butt console...TOO wierd!

Yeah, the center console is the only azz he'll be getting in that thing. :P Nah, it's not THAT bad...ok, well, maybe it is. But, I do like the paint for the most part. The yellow bed has to go. This is from outside of the US (Austria or where ever), so you can't expect the whole world to respect the Elky the way we do...most of us anyway. :lookround:

It is good to see something different. I am guilty of having a very stock looking Caballero. I say good for that guy for going against the norm. Same is boring, the uniqueness is what drew me to El Caminos/Caballeros anyways. Later-Matt

Oh come on, give the guy a break! It's good to get young guys interested in custom cars- they are the future of the hobby. After all this is an El Camino site not a 1st gen Camaro site!
