I just wanted to give these guys a plug. I ordered a system for my 1970, and couldn't be happier. I looked at quite a few systems and decided on them. They are courteous and attentive. I'm not sure if Wayne is the owner, but I've talked with him several times on the phone, and he's one nice guy! They shipped my system to Hawaii and when it arrived I was impressed with how well everything was packed. I didn't know about these guys until I brought up the idea of buying an after-market system in one of the forums. Someone recommended that I check them out. I'm glad I did.

I've got a 70 and a year or so from now will be adding aftermarket A/C to mine as well. What was the price range? Did it include heat as well, or just AC? I know you posted this as a "guest" but if you're able, drop us some pic's of your install when it's done. I'd love to see it!!

Not sure why it logged me in as a guest. I'll try and take some pics tomorrow. It was great to get rid of that huge box on the engine side of the fire-wall, as well as the one inside. The unit does include heat, and can be adjusted for defrost or out the bottom. Also has temp control. The only disappointment, if there is one, is that my factory air supports 5 vents. Their unit comes with three cold air and two defrost ports. I'm sure I can McGiver a manifold that would let me keep the two lap vents, but right now I'm thinking about leaving them out. I'm not sure I know how to upload pics to the site, but I'd be glad to e-mail them to anyone.

Jon, you can email me the pictures at jlevitan@holyross.edu and I can upload them to this site, or I can email you a Word document that I have that will step you through the process. Whichever is easier for you. :-)

Just wanted to up-date. I've taken the photos and am trying my best to figure out how to post them."Jay, thanks for the help." To answer an earlier question. I paid $1150. That is with a polished compressor, and remember, that includes shipping to me in Hawaii. The kit uses Alan Groves brackets. I chose to mount on the drivers side. The hose routing is longer than if I had chosen the pass. side, but I've got a new wire harness, that I didn't want to cut, and my alternator was already in. I'll get some pics up as soon as I can. Don't twist in the wind to long Jon about uploading the pic's. We always want everyone to be able to use as many features of this site as possible. If there is a part of the Word document that doesn't work for you, we can figure it out. 8)

OK, I managed to get some pics posted at the car show page. If you go to the last page, I think (7), I was able to get some photos up. Sorry about the quality. My computer skills are rivaled only by my ability to take clear photos> Aloha!
