I think I'm switching over to the Dark Side.....All my life I have always loved Mustangs besides the Mustang II(thats just a POS). Always everything about them...I have always got rides from my friend in his 04 v6 convertible and it feels nice and all. But today.....something happened......My friends dad who works at the school I attend wanted me to put air in his tires. He happens to drive a 96 Camaro RS. And driving the thing around was so awesome......The feel you get sitting in the driver seat is a better feeling than the Mustangs I've riden/test drove. Now I am in-factuated with 93-01 Camaros! I now want one! To you guys this is good being all Chevy lovers and Ford haters. But I have joined the Dark Side! LOL....Thought I'd share this :P

if you want one go for it. but think about the insurance, mintance, no room. if you sell the el camino make sure it goes to a good guy. i had this same feeling with offroad trucks for a couple of weeks. then it went away. just remember the new feeling is only there for a little while.

A true car enthusiast/hobbyist doesn't wear blinders to other brands with out own one himself. I can list one on one a problem with every make out there. I owned a '85 custom Toyota pick up, and liked it, and the way they did some things, but I'm am a true chevy guy, I had my '73 ss 454 El Camino at the same time. I had a '72 Toyota Land Cruiser with a built 350, 3 deuces, posi front and rear full cage, what all cj's want to be! I had a '70 R/T SE Challenger with a 383 mag. fun car, sold in Ca. I had a '47 International KB-2 pick up with a '72 dodge power wagon drive train, 36's Dana 70 front and Dana 60 rear and a flip front end. I have a Ford '27 "T" coupe with a Chrysler 392 Hemi, GM 4sp, Ford 9" center, I have '27 Ford Tudor Sedan with a Nissan 300ZX independent Posi rear end and a Buick V6 turbo'd.

What I'm saying is don't say you don't like it, because someone else say's they don't, I say try it you might like it ALSO! I have had over 100 different cars and trucks, and would take back just about everyone of them.

I still think my lowered '87 5.0 Gt mustang convert is the slowest car I can remembering having! :(

Well I never said I hated Fords...I was refering to the people who hear Ford get agrivated and wanna punch someone in the face....I have been happy with my Ford Exploder which has never broken down and has had tons of abuse. But with that said. Im not gonna sell my elky for a Camaro. I plan on keeping the elky untill I have a wife and kids ya know? lol thats the plan anyways :P. Poltergeist I didnt open the throttle on the literl v6 but I would wet my self probably with ur 02 SS haha....Nothing beats the ls1's!
