Ok guys I know I'm going against the norm, going from a 4 to 3-speed tranny in my 5th Gen but it's something I just have to do. I have gone through all of the posts and links and still am not sure I have found the answers to my questions. Will this swap:

a) require the driveshaft to be shortened/lengthened
b) require a new crossmember or crossmember relocation
c) require modifications to the tranny cooler lines, etc

Your thoughts are greatly appreciated........it's way past time for me to get my Elky back on the road!!

going from a th2004r to a th350 will require no change to the drive shaft but the transmission crossmember will need to be moved about 6 inches forward ---should be no problem holes should already be there as far as the cooler lines---I'm not sure----I'm just at a loss to figure why you would even want to do it....................Dan
