I have an 81 I am doing frame off on, it had a v6 now a V8, where can I get new springs for a V8 front and and rear.

Try NAPA or pretty much any auto store close to you. They're all basically made by the same company.

Another option is aftermarket lowering springs. Eibach makes the best I've seen.

Found out today I can't run disc brakes in the back with the car lowered even one inch without notching the frame. Man what a let down.

That's not necessarly true unless you mount the calipers at the very top of the disk (12:00) You can mount them closer to 3:00 or 6:00 and have no problems with lowering.

i just found some brackets on ebay, i think they may work. does anyone sell brackets that dont mount the caliper at 12 o clock?
