Picked this up today. It is titled as a 68. It has a 6 cylinder and a 3 speed. Not sure what came in this originally, so I thought I would pass the body plate numbers on for decoding to folks that know:

ST 68-13380
TR 758
Paint GG
Body BF 00004

09A - Prodcution Date is Sept, 1st week of

00269 110044 - Internal plant processing number. Nothing to decode

68 - 1968
13380 - El Camino pickup delivery (6 cyl model)
758 - Interior trim code for Saddle color bench seat
GG - Lower and upper paint colors is Ash Gold (if letters were different it would indicate a 2 tone paint)
BF - Assembly plant ID code for Fremont CA assembly
00004 - Body Ident number, the 4th body built in STyle 13380


Appears to be a basic 6 cyl truck.
