Not my style....but the guy did one hell of a paint job. Lots of talent....I'd like to have that guy shoot my Elky, with a slightly different look.

Cute! My kids would love it, well the younger ones anyway.

Great job on the car though. I hope my paint job of two colors looks half as good as that one.

Great paint job on a straight Elky. Looks mighty fine. I hope mine turns out at least 1/2 as well.

Wow... My question is, are their kids old enough to drive, or is this one Michael Eisners scheems to get Disneys stock to go back up? :D

I agree. Not my style either - but that boy is one heck of a talented painter! 8-) Wonder if he would consider traveling to paint? ?

I hope to see the car again and ask some more questions. I believe he said the painter was located in Florida. I was impressed with the quality as well. Under the hood (not shown) was a classic "Sorcerer's Magician" mural. The purple paint has big metalflakes and looks like it's about 2" deep. The owner didn't drive it to the show, the car's "keeper" did. He said the owner (a Newport Dr. as I recall) has several really nice cars in addition to this one. We spoke for a while. At the time (early Sept) he (the driver) was looking for an Elky to fix up. I mentioned this website/forum and encouraged him to paruse the info. He was already watching eBay for likely candidates.

Probably be next year, but when I "steal" a few more shots or find out who/where the painter is, I 'll post the info.

Found/posted a few pics [more pics] of the Mickey Mouse Elky that I saw here in [Jamestown RI in] Sept. Take a look at the magician under the hood (Pic #7). If you look close, you can see the engine's reflection.

Wonder if "Mickey's Magic" is what I need under the hood?
