I would think the seat (bottom not the back) may sit to high, even using the Elkys seat tracks. This would probably afford you little leg room between the steerng wheel and the seat...take measurments!

Ok just went outside and measured the seats in my 94 Z71 (very similar to what your looking at) and my 84 Elky (best I can do, I know you have a 68. The bottom seat cushions are approximately the same... 7" (that should be no problem). The width of the Z71 seat is 11 1/2" (that should be no problem). The seat mount though on the truck seat looks like that may give you a problem. If you can mount the seat tracks (slider) from the Elky to the truck seats I think you'd be OK, (height wise) but taking a quick look at them I think this is where your going to run into difficulty. If you were to mount the truck seats using the truck seat slider, then you will be to high to fit your legs under the steering wheel, if at all. Have you considered looking at late model Cavalier seats, there is a lot of them in boneyards and it looks like it maybe a fairly easy swap too me. Hope this helps.

I've heard that 3rd gen F-bodys seats are a bolt in swap. I've looked at these also and it looks like that may be. I've got a mint interior in my 88 GTA, but don't want to use those buckets in my Elky. I've kept my eye open hoping to find a really nice set of F-body buckets at the boneyard, but usually they're faded, ripped, or the backs are broke, that's why I'm looking at the Cavaliers now, there's plenty in good shape in boneyards.

Not quite a bolt in swap, but they'll work. Pulled a pair out of a 87 Firebird and had to move the seat rails out about a half an inch on each side...just takes a little patience and a lot of measuring and re-measuring. I've since replaced those with a set of power leather buckets out of a 95 Z28. Again a little modification is required...but nothing that can’t be done in an afternoon.
