Well my winter project is half done..As some of you might of read in A earlier post I picked up A 82 Malabo wagon for A winter car, the car came with no motor. I pulled the motor out of the Camino ( 350) and took off the heads and pulled out the cam and replaced it with A set of stock heads and cam, dropped it in the wagon
and put A stock carb back on it and took it out for a test run. I drove around for about an hour and I could not get over the MPG I was getting, The trans is A 350 with lockup converter, I think it has A 241 gear but not sure..Now its time to start on the Camino..I am putting A 1970 350 40 over LT-1 all roller 11 to 1 with my heads intake an carb off the camino. I well be taking pictures of the motor as it is being built. Heres my wagon.

If you get A chance to get one do so, I have been driving it to work since I got her running, I avg about 100 to 150 miles A day. Being A stone mason I work all over the state of Mich..Driving the elk at 8 MPG was starting to get into my pocket. The wagon is gr8 on gas and have lots of room to put all my work tools in and keep them dry. The only thing I have to do is tent the windows.. I must say tho driving the Elk made going to work A hell of alot more fun.
